We went to look at Malina’s Senior pictures on Tuesday. I can’t believe she’s going to be graudating next year. She is such a beautiful young lady. The following pictures were the ‘rejects’ from the 37 pictures we had to choose from. We should be getting the other pictures in about 3-4 weeks. Just in time for her to distribute the pictures to her friends at the start of the school year.
In my previous post, I added my favorite dance of this season. I realized now that I know how to post videos (thanks Susan), I should add my favorite dance from last season. This was done by Chelsie and Mark to Bleeding Heart. I added the entire section so the background and after comments are included. The great thing I didn’t know was that this dance was actually nominated for an emmy which is cool.
I think this was the best dance this season. I cried when I watched it the first time on tv and then again when I watched it on youtube. I wanted to find the full version which includes the judges remarks because I think their comments just added to the whole routine.
On June 30, Neo passed away. We took him to the vet and he passed away on their table. We were there to say good-bye, but it didn’t make it any easier.
Looking back on the past month, he was acting a little different when he was outside or playing. He needed to take more breaks. I’m just grateful that I was at home with him. He’s going to be truly missed. The house doesn’t feel the same without seeing him sitting at his window or laying down on his pad in the living room. I’ve cried so much, that I don’t think I have any more tears. Then, I start to think about him, and the tears start up again. It’s just so painful right now. I know that he’s not suffering anymore, but that doesn’t make my suffering any easier. I miss him so much. I’m so glad that he found us. I’m so glad that I have a husband that allowed me to treat Neo like a part of the family and not care how much it costs to keep Neo on his meds.
I’m going to miss you Neo more than you know. Thank you for being a wonderful and loving family member.
